Full Professor (UdG)

PhD in Sciences (Biological) from the UAB. Professor of the area of Animal Biology, of the Department of Environmental Sciences. Research lines: Marine ichthyology, feeding, reproduction and fishing. She has participated in 22 research projects (12 of which as principal researcher), related to the study of the reproductive strategy of fish, the effect of fishing on it and the impact of parasites and pollutants on the health of fish. She has published more than 50 national and international scientific articles.

She has worked with the territorial federation of fishermen's guilds of Girona and with the Spanish Institute of Oceanography, through collaboration agreements with the university, for the evaluation of fishing resources. She has worked at the University of Girona since 1984. She teaches in the degrees of Biology, Environmental Sciences and Biotechnology and in the official master's degree in Environmental Change. She has been coordinator of the doctoral program in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability, of the doctoral program in Environment of the UdG, and the master's degree in Heritage (Cultural Heritage and Natural Heritage specialty).
